We’re casting individuals willing to share their turning points, including the breakdowns, the breaking points, and the breakthroughs that can inspire others to reimagine what’s possible.
No scripts. No filters. Just real stories.
All backgrounds welcome. Global applicants encouraged.

What We Do
FAQ
Have questions? we’re here to help.
Who can apply?
Anyone aged 18 or older, from anywhere in the world. We welcome all industries, life stages, and backgrounds.
Do I need on-camera experience?
Not at all. We are looking for authentic stories, not actors.
What is the time commitment?
The initial casting call is 20–30 minutes. Filming schedules depend on your story and availability, and everything is discussed and agreed with you in advance.
How is my data handled?
Your application and audition materials are stored securely and reviewed only by the casting team. By applying, you agree under the Participant Release that Always Ivy Ltd may use your submitted materials (including videos and written responses) for casting, production, and promotional purposes connected to More Than a Job and related projects. If you are not selected, your personal contact details can be deleted at your request, but your submitted materials will remain part of the production archive.
Do I lose control of my story if I apply?
No. Submitting your application gives us permission to review your story and materials for casting under the terms of the Participant Release. Nothing will be published or shared publicly without both your signed Participant Release and, if you are selected, a Participant Agreement that confirms how your story will be told.
Why do I need to sign a release?
The Participant Release is a standard requirement for productions like this. It allows us to legally use your submitted application materials (such as videos and written responses) in connection with More Than a Job and related projects. If you are selected, you will also sign a Participant Agreement that covers filming, compensation, and how your story is presented.
Can I stay anonymous?
Yes. If you prefer, we can explore options such as first-name only, voice-only interviews, or obscured visuals. Your level of visibility is always discussed and agreed with you in the Participant Agreement.
What if I change my mind after applying?
You may withdraw from the casting process at any point before filming begins. However, your submitted materials remain part of the production archive under the Participant Release. Nothing will be published or shared publicly without your signed Participant Agreement.
Do I have control over how my story is told?
Yes. This is a collaborative process. If you are selected, the Participant Agreement ensures you are fully informed and have the opportunity to approve how your story is presented before it is released.
Where and how will the series be shown?
More Than a Job is designed for global audiences. The series will be pitched to streaming platforms, festivals, and digital channels. Distribution plans will be shared with you as part of the Participant Agreement before any release.
What costs are covered?
If you are selected, reasonable travel and related expenses are reimbursed. All details are set out in your Participant Agreement.
Can I apply if English isn’t my first language?
Yes. We welcome applications from all over the world. If translation or subtitles are needed, we will work with you to ensure your story is represented accurately.
What if my story isn’t selected?
Every story matters. If yours isn’t chosen for this season, we may keep your application materials under the Participant Release for potential future opportunities. You may also request deletion of your personal contact details at any time.
